Get to know your Blue Devils in our unique interactive video roster
Most of the college and pro rosters are presented in table form these days, with links to player pages with bios and personal information. We wanted to bring this type of information to life with some personality and the result is our brand-new interactive video roster.
The roster starts with our players standing in front of the Crazies in Cameron, with the scoreboard and banners visible. Our song, produced at the start of the year by Duke’s own Mike Posner, plays in the background throughout the roster. From there, each player (and the Blue Devil) is clickable, with introductions by well-known sports announcer Michael Buffer.
Each player page contains various background information along with the player’s answers to a series of our questions and player highlights on the scoreboard. Wonder how Nolan Smith would describe his game? Or what rule Brian Zoubek would change if he were NCAA President? Or what Lance Thomas likes most about the Crazies? These answers and many more can be found in the new roster.
