For the NCAA-best 20th time in the past 12 years, a Blue Devil has earned All-America honors. This year, Gerald Henderson earned All-America recognition from the AP (third team), Wooden (one of 11 selections) and NABC (third team).
G helped the Blue Devils to a 30-7 record, the 2009 ACC title and a trip to the Sweet 16. The PA native was tied for the team lead in scoring at 16.5 PPG, while also ranking second in rebounding (4.9 RPG) and assists (91). The high-flying All-ACC First Team choice scored in double figures 31 times in 2008-09, including 11 games with 20 or more points scored.
