The 7th annual Fuqua School of Business & Coach K Leadership Conference kicked off on Monday and wraps up on Wednesday afternoon.  The theme of this year’s conference is “Leading in Challenging Times: Overcoming Crisis, Sustaining Excellence, and Growing Intelligently.”  The event includes keynotes by US Lt. General Martin Dempsey, Athletic Director and Vice President Dr. Kevin White, and William Weldon, Chairman and CEO of Johnson & Johnson among many others.  The three-day event also includes smaller breakout sessions featuring outstanding leaders from business, sports, government, and nonprofits.  The panel sessions are moderated by Duke faculty and scholars and are designed to allow participants to easily interact and learn with the speakers as well as from one another.  Conference attendees also watched Coach K lead the Blue Devils during a closed practice session on Tuesday.  The annual conference offers attendees the chance to enhance their leadership skills and network with a diverse group of peers, all while enjoying the Duke and Fuqua experience.  For more info, check out the conference’s official website.
